Judge John Riordan of Gouverneur, NY; moronic loser

Judge Riordan sits as a Justice of the Gouverneur Town Court, St. Lawrence County, New York.

The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Shanley guilty of the following misconduct.

For approximately seven (7) years, John found it acceptable to hold court in his chambers, rather than in the courtroom.

John’s chambers did not contain any space for members of the public to observe the proceedings, which was a statutory violation.

Johnny compounded his misconduct by inexplicably continuing to hold court in his chambers even after he was advised on several occasions that court proceedings must take place in the courtroom, and after the attended a court-sponsored training session wherein the issue was specifically addressed.

Even more egregious, was Johnny’s admission to his court clerks that he absolutely knew that court proceedings were to take place in the courtroom and not his chambers.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Johnny’s 1st bite at the Judicial Misfit Apple Tree. The comedians sitting on the Judicial Commission previously gifted Johnny with two separate cautions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. March 2013, Judge Riordan continues to sit as a Justice of the Gouverneur Town Court, St. Lawrence County, New York.
