Scott pleaded no contest (guilty in effect) to hindering and opposing a police officer. Contrary to the Rules of Professional Conduct, Scott failed to report his conviction to the Grievance Administration.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Scott by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Scott was convicted of aggravated assault in the 61st District Court located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Scott by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2013) Scott practices at 5460 Brattleboro Drive in Kentwood, Michigan, which is a suburb of Grand Rapids.

It must be comforting to the folks living in the greater Grand Rapids area to know that there is yet another convicted criminal practicing law compliments of the comedians sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court.
