Attorney Edward Sada of El Centro, CA; ethical misfit
The state of California provided Edward Charles Sada with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from San Diego University Law School.
The California Bar Court found Edward guilty of the following misconduct.
Edward stipulated (admitted) to eleven (11) counts of misconduct. Six of the counts involved Edward’s mishandling of a personal injury case. Edward failed to provide competent legal services by not submitting all available evidence to an arbitrator and then failing to request a trial after arbitration concluded.
Edwards’ clients (victims) received a judgment which did not adequately compensate them for their medical bills or their pain and suffering. Edwards’ conduct also led to a unwarranted delay in filing a motion to vacate the judgment.
When the clients hired a new lawyer, Edward did not release their property and files to them or the new attorney and made several misrepresentations (lied) in declarations to the court in seeking to mislead the trial judge.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Edward by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. February 2013) Edward practices at 836 State Street in El Centro, California.
