Attorney Thelma Bailey of Charlotte; ethical misfit

The state of California provided Thelma Byers Bailey with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from St. Louis University Law School

The California Bar Court found Thelma guilty of the following misconduct.

Thelma’s current misconduct is the result of her failure to comply with conditions attached to a public reproval she previously received. She failed to meet the deadline for submission of an approved law office management plan to the State Bar’s probation department.

She also failed to participate in the disciplinary proceedings. In truth, Thelma told the State Bar, “Up Yours.”

As a consequence of her misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Thelma by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2013) Thelma practices at 1816 Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
