Attorney Robert McCoy of Norwich, CT; ethical hobbit

The state of Connecticut provided Robert C. McCoy with a law license in 1982.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Robert guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in conduct prejudicial o the administration of justice
  2. Failed to comply with a court order
  3. Failed to act with due diligence
  4. Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
In one matter, Robert was hired to represent a client on a habeas corpus petition, which tried to the court. At the conclusion of the trial, the trial judge ordered Robert and the prosecuting attorney to submit post-trial memorandums. The State’s Attorney Office complied with the court’s order, but Robert did not.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Robert’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand from the comedians sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Robert by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2013) Robert practices at 1 Nancy Lane in Norwich, Connecticut.
