Attorney Peggy Maguire of Lewis Center, OH; ethical dwarf

The state of Ohio presented Peggy Maguire with a law license in 1966 after she graduated from Capitol University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Peggy guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Commingled client fund with her personal funds
  2. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on her fitness to practice law
  3. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigators (Up Yours, said Peggy!)
  4. Wrote several checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  5. Paid personal expenses account of attorney trust account
Because Attorney Misfits in Ohio are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Perry was never criminally charged for writing bad checks.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Harvey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2013) Peggy will again begin practicing law within the next several months in Lewis Center, Ohio, which is a suburb of Columbus.
