Attorney Kenneth Whiting of Binghamton, NY; convicted tax cheat

The state of Florida presented Kenneth Paul Whiting with a law license in 1989. The state of New York also provided Kenneth with a law license.

The New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial department found Kenneth guilty of the following misconduct.

Kenneth pled guilty to one count of a multi-count indictment, covering four (4) years of his failure to file federal income tax returns. He was subsequently convicted In the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York, and sentenced to three years of probation, a $2,000 fine, 100 hours of community service, and payment of all interest, taxes and penalties that were due and/or assessed.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Court in New York punished Kenneth by gifting him with a 90-day suspension of his law license.

Since Kenneth was also licensed in Florida, he was subject to reciprocal discipline. Therefore, the comedians sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Kenneth by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2013) Kenneth practices at 169 Leroy Street in Binghamton, NY.
