The state of Illinois presented Steven Bruce Nagler with a law license in 1969.
The Disciplinary Commission found Steven guilty of the following misconduct.
Over a period of three years, Steven failed to timely file estate tax returns and pay taxes due on his late father’s estate.
Steven also failed to properly account to a trust beneficiary about his activities as trustee of his father’s testamentary trust. Isn’t it wonderful when an attorney finds it convenient to play fast and loose with his dead father’s estate?
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Steven by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. January 2013) Steven practices with Steven B. Nagler Ltd. at 601 Skokie Blvd in Northbrook, Illinois.
