Judge Derek Johnson of Fullerton, CA; disgusting misogynist  The state of California provided Derek Guy Johnson with a law license in 1979.
The California Commission on Judicial Performance found Judge Johnson guilty of the following misconduct.
Judge Johnson found it acceptable to make offensive remarks while sentencing a defendant convicted of rape and other sexual assault offense.
In an effort to cement his status as a practicing misogynist, Judge Johnson stated he would sentence the defendant to a mere six years, rather than the 16 years requested by the prosecutor. Judge Johnson then went on to say, “I’m not a gynecologist, but I can tell you something: If someone doesn’t want to have sexual intercourse, the body shuts down. The body will not permit that to happen unless a lot of damage is inflicted, and we heard nothing about that in this case. That tells me that the victim in this case, although she wasn’t necessarily willing, she didn’t put up a fight. And to treat this case like the rape cases that we all hear about is an insult to victims of rape. I think it’s an insult. I think it trivializes a rape.”
The moron then said, “I found this whole case to be a technical case. The rape is technical. The forced oral copulation is technical. It’s more of a criminal law test then a real live criminal case.”
It would be sweet justice if this Certified Loser was sent packing to Folsom Prison for a much needed vacation. Once there he should be assigned to Cell No. 177 so he’ll be roommates with Clarice (real name is Clarence) who is rumored to be quite friendly and will likely give Derek some much needed lessons on what constitutes rape.
This disgusting buffoon (my apologies to buffoons) has absolutely no business sitting on the bench.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Judge Johnson by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.
As we speak (ca. January 2013), Judge Johnson continues to sit as a judge on the Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana, California.
