Attorney Terry Dalke of Tucson; certified Dumbo
The state of Arizona presented Terry J. Dalke with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found Daniel guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
In one matter, Terry represented two mothers of minor children whose parental rights were severed. Ms. Dalke was to file appeals of the severances, but she miscalculated the dates and filed the notices of appeal late.
As a result of her gross negligence and stupidity, the clients’ appeals were dismissed. Terry then hired another attorney to prepare petitions for review, but failed to properly supervise the attorney.
Filing petitions for review was not the appropriate procedure to follow, they were untimely filed, and they did not conform to Supreme Court procedural rules. As a result the severance orders became final and the clients lost their rights of appeal.
In another matter, Terry delegated her trust account duties to others without proper supervision and she failed to perform month reconciliations of the trust account. As a result of her negligence, the account became overdrawn.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Daniel by gifting her with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. January 2013) Terry is employed with the Pima County Juvenile Court at 2225 East Ajo Way in Tucson, Arizona.
