The state of Louisiana presented Michael S. Fawer with a law license in 1972.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Michael guilty of the following misconduct.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 
 
As we speak (ca) January 2013) Michael practices at 71130 Riverside Drive in Covington, Louisiana.
 
In one matter, Michael was sanctioned by U.S. Judge Ralph Tyson of the Middle District of Louisiana for engaging in misconduct. Judge Tyson sanctioned Michael by imposing a monetary sanction against him. Michael decided to waste taxpayer money by filing an appeal of Judge Tyson’s sanction; however, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals told Michael to take a hike when it summarily dismissed his appeal.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
