Attorney Michael Kimm of Englewood Cliffs, NJ; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Michael S. Kimm with a law license in 1991.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Michael guilty of the following misconduct.

Michael found it acceptable to unjustly enrich himself by calculating his contingent fee in a personal injury matter based on the gross recovery, rather than on the net recovery.

Michael also violated the rules when he advanced more than $17,000 to his client prior to the conclusion of the personal injury matter.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Michael’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He received a complimentary censure in 2007 for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers sitting on the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics punished Michael by gifting him with his third (3rd) complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. January 2013) Michael practices at 333 Sylvan Avenue in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
