Attorney Deborah Feldstein of Denville, NJ; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Deborah T. Feldstein with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from Widener University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Deborah guilty of the following misconduct.

Deborah engaged in a glaring conflict of interest by representing a client in the purchase of tax lien certificates from other individuals and entities. Prior to representing the client, Deborah and her partner Michael Pelligrino had prosecuted tax lien foreclosures against the same entities and/or individuals.

Apparently, Deborah failed to take the “Conflict of Interest 101” class when she attended Widener Law School.

As a consequent of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics board punished Deborah by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. (December 2012) Deborah practices with Pelligrino & Feldstein LLC at the Denville Law Center at 290 Route 46 West in Denville, New Jersey.

On her self-serving website at www.taxlienlawyer.com, Deborah doesn’t mention that she was found guilty of the misconduct aforementioned. Apparently she and her partner Michael Pelligrino chose to conceal said information for fear that it would limit their future victim pool.
