Attorney Randy Lucas of Gallatin, TN; lying loser
The state of Tennessee provided Randy Paul Lucas with a law license in 199 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.
The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Randy guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Randy was hired to represent clients in a civil lawsuit to recover damages for breach of a cost plus building contract.
On several occasions, Randy told his clients that he had obtained a trial date on their claims. When each trial date approached, Randy advised his clients that their trial had been continued by the trial court. After Randy told his clients that the December 6, 2011 trial had been continued, they went to the courthouse and reviewed the court file. They then discovered that Randy was a congenital liar because no trial date had ever been set on their case.
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Randy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary censure for borrowing money from a client.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with his second complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. December 2012) Randy practices at111 College Street in Gallatin, Tennessee.
