Attorney Collin McCullough of Des Moines, IA; convicted wife beater

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Collin J. McCullogh guilty of the following misconduct.

In November 2011, Collin was arrested Domestic Abuse Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a serious crime. The assault took place at Collin’s home and his wife was the victim.

The assault occurred when Collin entered a room in which his wife was seated at a computer. Collin then began striking his wife in the face. Collin then dragged her into another room. Collin’s wife suffered a bloody nose from the assault.

Collin’s wife then called 911 and two deputies arrived at the home and arrested Collin. Subsequently, Collin pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife and was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to complete a batterer’s treatment program.

An unreliable source indicated that Collin attended the Charlie Sheen Batterer’s Institute located in West Hollywood, California.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Collin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He received a complimentary suspension of his law license in 1991 and a complimentary reprimand in 2006 for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board punished Steven by gifting him with complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Collin practices at 666 Walnut Street in Des Moines, Iowa.
