Attorney Anthony Griffin of Galveston, TX; unethical crook

The state of Texas presented Anthony Paul Griffin with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from University of Houston Law School.

The Grievance Committee found Anthony guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to respond to numerous client inquires
  2. Failed to communicate with his client
  3. Failed to take any action to prosecute client’s case
  4. Failed to return unearned fees (crook)
In one matter, Anthony was hired to represent a client in a discrimination matter. During the time he represented the client, the client made numerous attempts to contact Anthony to ascertain the status of the case, but Anthony failed to return any of the calls. As a result of Anthony’s gross negligence, the client fired him.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Anthony by gifting him his second (2nd) complimentary reprimand.

Anthony was also ordered to make restitution of $9,000 to his unfortunate client/victim.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Anthony practices at 1115 21st Street in Galveston, Texas.
