Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH); moron; liar, hypocrite, nutcase and ethical gremlin

Unfortunately, Jean Schmidt was able to dupe the voters in 2005 to represent a congressional district that runs from Cincinnati to Portsmouth, Ohio.

Suffice it to say that Jean Schmidt’s so-called political career has been remarkably undistinguished. Put simply, Jean Schmidt has dedicated her career as a public servant to cement her status as a certified moron/nutcase, liar and duplicitous hypocrite, and these are just some of Jean Schmidt’s notable attributes.

In Nov. 2005, while the House debated withdrawing troops from Iraq, Jean Schmidt decided it was time to again prove that she was a certified nutcase and most importantly a fabricator of false facts (aka, congenital liar).

During the debate, Jean Schmidt stood before the House to speak about her recent visit to the Arlington National Cemetery to attend the funeral of a Marine from her congressional district. Jean Schmidt then spewed forth the following lies before the House:

“A few minutes ago I received a call from Colonel Danny Bubp, Ohio Rep. from the 88th District. He asked me to send Congress a message: Stay the court. He also asked me to send Congressman Murtha a message, that cowards don’t cut and run, Marines never do. Danny the rest of America and the world want the assurance from this body – that we will see this through.”

Subsequently, a spokeswoman for Rep. Bubp said he never mentioned Rep. Murtha by name when he spoke to Jean Schmidt. The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that Rep. Bubp said “he never mentioned … [Rep.] Murtha by name when talking with Jean Schmidt, and he would never call a fellow Marine a coward.”

The morons, nutcases and loons that belong to the so-called “Birther” movement firmly believe that Pres. Obama was not born in the United States and therefore, he is unlawfully sitting in the Whitehouse.

Some of these “Birther” nutcases actually believe that Hawaii is not part of the United States. Now, let me tell you what folks, you gotta be one big time moron to not know that Hawaii is a state and was a state well before Obama was born. In fact, the I.Q. of such persons cannot be higher than the legal speed limit in a school zone.

Hawaii became a state on August 21, 1959. Obama was born on August 4, 1961. Without the benefit of using my trusty calculator, I was able to determine within 15-minutes that 1961 comes after 1959. Maybe subtracting 1959 from 1961 may be a rather difficult calculation for intellectual dwarves like the Birthers and Jean Schmidt.

To assure that she would retain the blessings of the right-wing fringe nutcases and those of their ilk (ilk doesn’t mean male Elk, Jean!) running amok in the greater Cincinnati area (aka, Birthers), Jean Schmidt decided it was time to become a card-carrying “Birther.”

While speaking at the Voice of America Tea party outside of Cincinnati over the Labor Day weekend, Jean Schmidt engaged in a conversation with a whacky Birther off-stage. During the proceedings, some Birther hollers out “You can’t be a president…” [Claiming Obama wasn’t born in the US].

In response, Jean Schmidt gets the Birther’s attention by saying, “M’aam, m’aam.” When the woman stops talking Jean Schmidt sez, “I agree with you, but the courts don’t.” Jean Schmidt is referring to numerous Birther lawsuits tossed by the courts. Again, we have Jean Schmidt taking affirmative steps to further cement her exalted status as a certified moron.

Sometime in the early 2000s, the Ohio legislature was considering legislation prohibiting judges from retiring immediately after being re-elected to collect a pension and then returning to the bench at the beginning of their new term. This is affectionately referred to as double-dipping.

At the time Jean Schmidt was a member of the Ohio General Assembly. Shortly before a public hearing was to be held by a committee of the House, Jean Schmidt contacted me and invited me to testify in support of this legislation, which I did. Of course Jean Schmidt well knew that the media would be covering this event due to its repeated coverage of my efforts in exposing judicial misconduct in Ohio.

I do not recall ever meeting Jean Schmidt nor do I recall seeing her at the committee hearing when I testified. I can assure you that had I had personally seen Jean Schmidt at that hearing; it is something I don’t believe I would have ever forgotten, if ya know what I mean.

Put simply, such an occasion would have unfortunately been indelibly cemented in my memory bank.
