Attorney Andrew Wilson of Knoxville; ethical goblin

The state of Tennessee provided Andrew Nicholas Wilson with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Andrew guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Failed to communicate with clients
  3. Failed to deal fairly with opposing counsel and party
  4. Abandoned clients
  5. Failed to expedite litigation
Three clients filed complaints against Andrew when he abandoned them by closing his law office in order to take a job in State government. He indicated he would complete the existing cases on behalf of his clients, but he lied to his clients when he ceased communicating with them and did not perform the work he was hired to perform.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Andrew by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2012) Andrew practices 503 South Gay Street in Knoxville, Tennessee.
