Judge Jimmy McGee of Corinth, MS; Judge Roy Bean Wannabee 
FYI: Judge Roy Bean was an infamous Justice of the Peace and saloon owner in Texas who called himself the "The Law West of the Pecos." Roy was also affectionately referred to as the Hanging Judge.
Judge McGee unfortunately sits a Justice Court Judge in Alcorn County Mississippi. The Mississippi Judicial Commission found Judge McGee guilty of the following misconduct.
After the indictment and arrest of a criminal defendant, Jimmy, acting in his official capacity as Justice Court Judge, interfered with the orderly prosecution of the case. Jimmy interfered with the defendant’s attempt to post bond, insisting that he only be allowed to post a cash bond.
Jimmy became angry when he learned that the defendant’s family was allowed to post a property bond rather than a cash bond of $50,000 as Jimmy proposed to law enforcement.
Subsequently, Jimmy disrupted an executive session of the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors by entering the closed meeting uninvited, angrily complaining of the sheriff’s actions relating to the bond and otherwise causing a disturbance.
Jimmy then interfered with the defendant’s attempts to employ an attorney by discouraging local attorneys from representing him, thereby attempting to deny him his constitutional right to counsel and to a fair criminal proceeding.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a 270-day suspension.
As we speak (ca. December 2012) Jimmy continues to sit as a Judge on the Justice Court in Alcorn County, Mississippi.
