Attorney Steven Popuch of Chicago; liar
The state of Illinois presented Steven Lee Popuch with a law license in 1977.
The Disciplinary Commission found Steven guilty of the following misconduct.
Steven’s ethics enabled him to aid a disbarred lawyer in the unauthorized practice of law.
When he was caught red-handed, Steven then made material misrepresentations (lied) to Disciplinary Counsel in an overt attempt to impede the investigation into his misconduct. In short, Steven told Disciplinary Counsel “Up Yours!”
As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Steven by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. November 2012) Steven practices with Popuch & Associates at 747 North LaSalle Drive in Chicago, Illinois.
