Attorney Randall Gaines of Laplace, LA; ethical elf

 
The state of Louisiana presented Randall L. Gaines with a law license in 1986.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Randall guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while license suspended
  2. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigators (Up Yours, said Randall!)
  3. Lied to Supreme Court about attendance at Continuing Legal Education class
  4. Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Randall’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for the unauthorized use of Southern University payroll funds.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Randall by gifting him with a complimentary 12-month suspension of his law license.
