Attorney Kervin Doyle of New Orleans; drug addicted thief

 
The state of Louisiana presented Kervin W. Doyle with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Southern University Law School
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Kervin guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Commingling client funds with his personal funds
  2. Failing to promptly disburse client funds to clients
  3. Failed to safeguard client funds
  4. Converted (stole) client and third party funds
  5. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
  6. Refused to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Kervin!)
  7. Neglected client legal matters
  8. Provided false information to ethics investigators
  9. Failed to provide competent legal representation (moron)
  10. Knowingly caused serious damage to his clients
  11. Abandoned his law practice and his clients
  12. Knowingly deceived client for his own benefit
  13. Misappropriated (stole) client funds
  14. Settled a client’s case without authorization from the client
  15. Failed to abide by client instructions regarding representation
  16. Failed to return unearned fees to client
  17. Committed various criminal acts
Kevin admitted to a long history of serious alcohol and substance abuse, beginning with alcohol in high school and marijuana in college. By the time he attended law school; Kervin began using cocaine and, later, crack cocaine.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Kervin by gifting him with a complimentary 12-month suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca) November 2012) Kervin practices with the law firm of Harry E. Cantrell, Jr., APLC at 8833 Belfast Street in New Orleans, Louisiana
