Attorney Rene Segundo of Austin; ethical misfit

 
The state of Texas presented Rene Segundo with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Texas Tech University Law School.
 
A panel of the District 12 Grievance Committee found Rene guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to timely respond to grievance committee (Up Yours, said Rene!)
As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Rene by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 14-month suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the committee didn’t actually mete out any meaningful punishment to Rene.
 
As we speak (ca. November 2012) Rene practices at 2101 South 1H 35 in Austin, Texas.
