Attorney Daniel Snyder of Park Falls, WI; congenital liar The state of Wisconsin presented Daniel F. Snyder with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Daniel guilty of the following misconduct.
Daniel was hired by three clients about a defamation or harassment claim against their employer after their “whistle-blowing” of abuse and neglect of developmental disabled persons and financial improprieties.
For nearly five (5) years, when the clients inquired as to the status of their matters, Daniel told them he had been in contact with the U.S. Magistrate, the court, and defense counsel regarding the case. Daniel also told them he would attempt to settle the matter through mediation.
Subsequently, the clients discovered that no case had ever been filed on their behalf and there had not been any efforts by Daniel to mediate a settlement. Put simply, Daniel cheerfully lied to all three (3) of his clients.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme
Court punished Daniel by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. . As we speak (ca. November 2012) Daniel practices with the Snyder Law Office at 572 4th Avenue South in Park Falls, Wisconsin.
