Attorney Omar Collin of Kingsville, TX; crook

The state of Texas presented Omar Orlando Collin with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of North Dakota Law School.

A panel of the District 11 Grievance Committee found Omar guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  2. Failed to communicate with a client
  3. Failed to return an unearned fee (crook)
  4. Failed to cooperate with grievance committee (Up Yours, said Omar!)
  5. After Omar’s victim filed an ethics complaint against him, the Grievance Committee ordered that he make restitution of $2,000 to his victim/client
As a consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Omar by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the committee didn’t actually mete out any significant punishment to Omar.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Omar practices at 800 East King Avenue in Kingsville, Texas.
