The state of California provided Jennifer Hart Roberts with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
The California Bar Court found Jennifer guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Jennifer represented two clients in a lawsuit against a bank. While she was on the case, Jennifer failed to file written oppositions to motions filed by defense counsel. Eventually, judgment was rendered against her clients and in favor of the defendant bank.
Jennifer’s Hyperbolic (BS) Defense
Jennifer had the chutzpah to blame her misconduct on her claim she suffered extreme emotional and physical difficulties during the period of her misconduct. This included delivering of a baby. As one would expect, the morons sitting on the Bar Court bought into her BS claim in finding it mitigated her misconduct.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Jennifer by gifting her with stayed 90-day suspension of her law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Bar Court didn’t mete out any significant punishment to Jennifer.
As we speak (ca. November 2012) Jennifer is employed by the Social Security Administration at 3403 Government Street in Alexandria, Virginia.
