Attorney John Herrick of San Antonio; Dufus

 

The state of Texas presented John David Herrick with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the St. Mary’s University Law School.
 
A panel of the District 10 Grievance Committee found John guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  2. Failed to keep client informed about status of his case
  3. Failed to respond to client requests for information
  4. Failed to provide competent legal representation (Dufus)
As a consequence of his misconduct the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished John by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the committee didn’t actually mete out any significant punishment to John. 
 
As we speak (ca. November 2012) John practices at 115 East Travis Street in San Antonio, Texas. .
