Attorney Brent Peck of Uniontown, PA; convict, serial liar

The state of Pennsylvania provided Brent Eric Peck with a law license in 1992.

The Disciplinary Board found Brent guilty of misconduct:
  1. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
  2. Commingled client funds with his personal funds
  3. Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
  4. Failed to promptly deliver to client funds belong to client
  5. Engaged in a fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
  6. Committed of a serious crime
In one matter, Brent refused for an extended period of time to pay an injured party nearly $3,000 as ordered by a court judgment. Brent was also convicted of driving under the influence of cocaine. Brent was later sentenced to 23-month in jail.

Brent testifying falsely at the disciplinary hearing as follows:
  • Lied that he no dependents when in fact he had a minor daughter
  • Lied that he did not have a substance abuse problem when in fact he did
  • Lied that he never received treatment for substance abuse when in fact he had received treatment
  • Lied that the $3,000 owed to Philip Luccioni was at all times kept in his office lockbox, when in fact he spent the money to purchase cocaine
Because Attorney Misfits in Pennsylvania are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Brent was never criminally prosecuted for perjury.

This wasn’t Brent’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Brent by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Brent practices with the Peck Law Offices L.L.C. at 111 East Main Street in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
