Attorney Michael Pisanchyn, Jr. of Lackawanna, PA; convicted bully

The state of Pennsylvania provided Michael John Pisanchyn, Jr. with a law license in 2001.

The Disciplinary Board found Michael guilty of misconduct:

Michael was criminally charged with simple assault, harassment, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. Subsequently a jury found Michael guilty and he was sentenced to serve four to twenty-four months in prison.

Michael’s criminal conduct arose out of a bar fight at the Wildcat Saloon in Archbald. Michael physically assaulted David Laguzzi by punching him in the head several times, causing personal injuries including a black eye, headaches and hearing loss. Michael believed that Laguzzi or his girlfriend had thrown a beer on his brother’s fiancé.

At his sentencing hearing, Michael had the chutzpah to tell the judge that his impression of a beer being thrown at his brother’s girlfriend was the cause of him assaulting Mr. Laguzzi. The judge wasn’t impressed with Michael’s refusal to accept responsibility for his serious assault on Laguzzi and sentenced the loser accordingly.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2012) Brent practices with the Pisanchyn Law Firm, LLC at 522-524 Spruce Street in Lackawanna, Pennsylvania.
