Attorney Clayton H. Morrison of Beaverton, OR; unethical thief

The state of Oregon provided Clayton H. Morrison with a law license in 1974.

The Oregon State Bar found Clayton guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Commingled client funds with his personal funds
  2. Charged and collected an illegal fee (thief)
  3. Acted with gross negligence in handling of his trust account
  4. Failed to properly maintain trust account for at least two years
  5. Misconduct involved selfish motive for unjust enrichment
  6. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct over the course of several years
  7. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
Clayton represented Jeffrey Clark in a claim against a third party for injuries he sustained at work. Clark also pursued a claim for and collected workers’ compensation benefits. Subsequently, Clark obtained a judgment against the third party.

Oregon law limited attorney fees in Clark’s third party action to 33% of the gross amount collected, a fact well known to Clayton. However, Greedy Clayton illegally paid himself 40% of the settlement proceeds.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits at the Oregon Supreme Court punished Clayton by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Sandra practices law with Clayton H. Morrison LLC at 8625 SW Cascade Avenue in Beaverton, Oregon.
