Attorney William Wade of Houston; ethically indigent

State of Texas presented William V. Wade with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

A panel of the District 4- Grievance Committee found William guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to return papers to client when discharged
  2. Failed to refund unearned fees (crook)
  3. Failed to keep client reasonably informed of legal matter
  4. Failed to respond to client’s reasonable requests for information
  5. Failed to respond to grievance committee requests (Up Yours, said Bill!)
As a consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished William by gifting him with a stayed 2-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Grievance Committee didn’t punish William in any meaningful manner.

The Grievance Committee ordered William to make restitution of about $1,000 to the victim (client) of his misconduct.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) William practices at 5635 Dumfries Drive in Houston, Texas.
