The state of Louisiana presented Donald R. Dobbins with a law license in 1991.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Donald guilty of misconduct on several occasions as set for the below.
 
Donald’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 
Donald received a complimentary admonishment for failing to have a written contingency fee agreement in a case.
 
Donald’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
 
Donald received his second complimentary admonishment for failing to have written contingency fee agreements in two client matters and for failing to provide a client with an accounting of his claim for fees.

  1. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  2. Long history of mishandling client trust accounts
  3. Converted client funds to personal use (thief)
  4. Violated fiduciary duty owed to clients
  5. Failed to promptly deliver funds owed to client
  6. Wrote checks against account with insufficient funds (rubber check)
  7. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Donald by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. October 2012) Donald practices at 327 North Blvd. in Baton Rogue, Louisiana.
