The state of Illinois presented Shannon Hayes Bedgood with a law license in 1995.
 
The Disciplinary Commission found Andrew guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  2. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  3. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  4. Convicted of criminal conduct
In one matter, Shannon attended a party in Hinsdale, Illinois, wherein she consumed multiple drinks and became intoxicated. While driving home from the party, a Hinsdale Police officer observed Shannon speeding and swerving between lanes. He pulled her over and observed that she reeked of alcohol. He then arrested her and she was charged with DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, and failure to signal. Shannon was subsequently found guilty and sentenced to one year of supervision and fined $1,160.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Shannon by gifting her with a complimentary 90-day suspension of her law license. .
 
As we speak (ca. September 2012) Shannon practices at the Bedgood Law Office at 710 South Manchester Street in Westchester, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago.
