Attorney Scott Pullins of Columbus, OH; ethical leprechaun

The state of Ohio presented Scott Allan Pullins with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Capitol University Law School in Columbus.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Scott guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Filing false and disrespectful statements regarding two judges
  2. Engaged in the improper use of notary powers
  3. Issued a subpoenas in a case that was stayed by a higher court
  4. Falsely accused prosecutor of engaging in improper ex parte communications
  5. Issued a sham subpoena to a judge’s wife
  6. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  7. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on his fitness to practice law
  8. Perpetrated a fraud on the court
  9. Used perjured or false testimony
  10. Created evidence he knew was false and/or fabricated
In one matter, Scotty filed a complaint for an injunction and declaratory judgment on behalf of his wife and his father-in-law. In addition with filing that action, he filed a motion for a temporary restraining order and an affidavit in support of it.

The affidavit was in the name of Plaintiff Kathryn Elliott Pullins, Scotty’s wife. Scott then acted as notary for his wife’s affidavit. However, Kathryn didn’t the affidavit; Scott forged his wife’s name to it and then falsely notarized the affidavit prior to submitting it to the court.

As a consequent of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Scott by gifting him with a complimentary suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Ohio are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Scott was never criminally charged for falsifying a notary or for obstruction of justice.

As we speak (ca. September 2012) Scott is employed as an executive analyst with Chase Mortgage Banking at 3415 Vision Drive in Columbus, Ohio.
