Attorney Frank Catallo of Palm Desert, CA; thief

The state of California provided Frank Robert Catallo with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles.

The California Bar Court found Frank guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Commingled client funds with his personal funds
  2. Failed to properly maintain required balance in client trust account
  3. Violated probate court rules for disbursing funds belonging to a minor
  4. Collected an illegal fee (thief)
Frank’s misconduct involved his so-called representation of a client and her two minor daughters. Subsequently, a settlement of the daughters’ claims took place. Frank was required by court rule to petition the probate court in regards to comprising the daughters’ settlement. This was to assure that those funds would be placed in an interest-bearing account until they reached the age of 18.

Frank then took one-third of their settlement as attorney fees, which was an illegal taking in accordance with the probate rules, a fact well known to Frank the Loser.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Frank by gifting him with a stayed 2-year suspension of his law license. In truth, the comics sitting on the Bar Court didn’t actually punish Peter the Criminal in any meaningful manner.

As we speak (ca. September 2012) Frank continues to practice in the Palm Desert, California area.
