Attorney Edselle Cunningham of Baton Rouge; serial offender

 
The state of Louisiana presented Edselle K. Cunningham with a law license in 1977.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel Edselle guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to communicate with client
  2. Failed to protect client’s property
  3. Refused to return client’s file after he was fired
  4. Failed to properly withdraw from client representation
  5. Intentionally mislead (lied) to client
  6. Failed to act diligently on client’s behalf (slacker)
  7. Failed to act competently (Dumbo)
  8. Refused to cooperate with client’s new attorney after he was fired
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Edselle by gifting him with a complimentary 12-month suspension of his law license.
 
As one would expect, this wasn’t Edselle’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree as set forth below.
  • 1996 – Edselle receives complimentary admonition
  • 1998 – Edselle receives complimentary admonition
  • 2000 – Edselle receives complimentary admonition
As we speak (ca) September 2012) Edselle practices at 6343 St. Pius Avenue in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
