Attorney Barbara Kuehn of Foster City, CA; convicted embezzler

The state of California provided Barbara Jean Kuehn with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from San Francisco Law College. .

The California Bar Court found Barbara guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter Barbara represented a woman in a dissolution wherein the family home was sold. The profits from the sale were to be split 50-50 after payments of debts, and Barbara was entrusted with the proceeds of the sale.

Barbara paid herself over $6,000 without obtaining the required court approval to so act. Barbara’s conduct led to her being criminally charged with embezzlement. She subsequently pleaded guilty was sentenced to six months of home detention, a fine of $3,750, three years of probation and 200 hours of community service.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Barbara by gifting her with a 12-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2012) Barbara practices with the Law & Mediation Offices of Barbara J. Kuehn at 969G Edgewater Blvd. in Foster City, California, which is about 20 miles south of San Francisco.

It’s comforting to know that there’s another convict practicing law in California compliments of the comedians sitting on the California Bar Court.
