Attorney Brian Spector of Florham Park, NJ; greedy moron

The state of New Jersey presented Brian D. Spector with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Temple University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  2. Failed to promptly notify client/third party of receipt of funds on their behalf
  3. Failed to properly safeguard client funds as required
  4. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
At one time Brian was employed as an associate with the Nagel & Rice law firm. Brian had hopes of becoming a partner in the firm in the future. However, he became dissatisfied with his earnings and decided to quit and start up his own law firm, Spector & Ehrenworth.

While still employed by Nagel & Rice, Brian billed their clients under his newly formed firm, Spector & Wentworth. Put simply, Nagel & Rice was paying Brian an hourly rate for his work on behalf of its clients while he was billing the clients via his newly formed law firm.

Subsequently, Brian filed a sham lawsuit for fees against Nagel & Rice, which was later referred to mandatory arbitration which was handled by retired Justice Robert Clifford. Justice Clifford ruled in favor of Nagel & Rice to the tune of $70,000. Obviously, Greedy Brian would have been better off financially if he had never sued Nagel & Rice.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2012) Brian practices with Spector & Ehrenworth PC at 30 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park, New Jersey, which is about 25 miles southwest of Paterson.

Brian doesn’t make any mention of his misconduct on his website at www.elawfirm.com. He obviously chose to conceal the truth so as to not limit his future victim pool.
