Texas Appeals Judge Thomas Gray; ethical gnome, certified moron, scofflaw

Texas Judge Thomas Gray is the quintessential triple threat; a moron; ethical elf and scofflaw.
Texas Election Code, Section 253.035 prohibits the use of campaign funds for personal use.

Apparently Judge Thomas Gray lacks the intellectual acumen to understand what the term “personal” means in regards to using campaign funds to pay for “personal protection.” Clearly, there is no gray area (pun intended) as it relates to Judge Thomas Gray’s violation of Sec. 253.035.

From 2004 through 2007, Judge Thomas Gray spent over $1,990.00 to purchase at least one weapon and ammunition as described below.
  1. Cash America #401, 20071017, 173.20, Personal Protection
  2. Texas Department of Public Safety, 20071127, 70.00, Personal Protection
  3. Jesse's Gun Shop, 20051202, 487.94, Personal security and supplies
  4. Martin, David, 20040822, 350.00, Attend a specialized gun safety/training course
  5. Korn, Andy, Dallas, 20070110, 450.00, Personal Protection
  6. Texas Department of Public Safety, 20070612, 25.00, Personal Protection
  7. z Cash America Pawn of Waco,20060308, 312.50,personal security for travel
  8. Jesse's Gun Shop, 20051228, 122.27, Personal security and related supplies
Here we have Judge Thomas Gray repeatedly using the term "personal" in is campaign expense reports. This proves beyond all doubt that Judge Thomas Gray is a certified moron (my apologies to morons.)

To further cement his status as a scofflaw and certified moron, Judge Thomas Gray also spent $92.00 of campaign funds to purchase an “electric razor.” Judge Thomas Gray had the chutzpah to claim the “electric razor” was for “campaign trips and events.”

For Judge Thomas Gray to assert that a manufacturer of electric razors produces and sells one that can only be used for “campaign trips and events” doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test.

Would Judge Thomas Gray claim that Hanes produces underwear that can only be used by ethical dwarfs and/or morons?

I suppose that Judge Thomas Gray’s defense will be that he was “ignorant of the law.” As we all know, “ignorance of the law is not a valid defense. However, it is in many instances a stepping stone to higher office, right?
