The state of New Jersey presented William J. Soriano with a law license in 1975.
 
The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found William guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Gross Neglect
  2. Failed to act diligently in representing clients (slacker)
  3. Failure to safeguard escrow funds
  4. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
Soriano’s misconduct revolved around his gross negligence in handling trust account funds of over $220,000 that were to be held for repayment to the sellers of a funeral home. Due to his gross misfeasance, over $150,000 of the trust funds were stolen by folks employed by and/or were associated with Soriano.
 
Subsequently, the sellers of the funeral home sued Soriano and his law firm and were awarded nearly $160,000 in damages due to Soriano’s asinine conduct.
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished William by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. .
 

As we speak (ca. September 2012) William practices at 75 Eisenhower Parkway in Roseland, New Jersey.
