Attorney John F. Rodgers, Jr. of Camden; ethical dwarf
The state of New Jersey presented John F. Rodgers, Jr. with a law license in 1990.
The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found John guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, John was appointed to administer the state of Florence G. Webb, who’s estate consisted of $6,500 in cash, US savings bonds of $3,000, an automobile, several small insurance claims, collectibles and real estate in Camden. The Camden property had a $7,995 mortgage.
During his time on the Webb case, Johnny failed to maintain and preserve the property, failed to pay taxes, utility bills, permitted the property to become “dilapidated,” filed to act diligently in selling the property, and allowed the realtor to wrongfully retain estate funds.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license. .
As we speak (ca. September 2012) John practices at 9 Tanner Street in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
