Attorney Michael Isler of Phoenix; congenital liar The state of Arizona provided Michael E. Isler with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found Ron guilty of the following misconduct while he was employed as a deputy county attorney with the Gila County Attorney’s Office.
While working for the County, Mike decided it was appropriate to lie in order to not have to show up for work. Towards that end, Mike fabricated the following falsehoods, all of which he submitted to his supervisors.
Shortly after the twins were born, Mike resigned his position and gave Gila County two weeks notice; however, he didn’t appear for work the second week. When he didn’t show up for work, Mike’s supervisor called his wife and learned that she and Mike were divorced. She told the supervisor that she didn’t have any children and the existence of twins was a fiction created by Mike. She also told him that her father wasn’t dead, but was alive and well in Canada.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with another complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. August 2012) Michael practices at 45 West Jefferson Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
