Attorney Yale Fishman of Woodmere, NJ; convicted felon

The state of New Jersey presented Yale Martin Fishman with a law license in 1991.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Howard guilty of misconduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

Fishman agreed to setup offshore accounts for several individuals. Subsequently one of his clients advised Fishman that the money and securities used to setup the accounts had come from the proceeds of a securities fraud. Despite this fact Fishman continued to assist his clients in converting the fraudulent funds to cash and then remitting the proceeds back to the United States.

Fishman was later found guilty of misprision of a felony, meaning he covered up and failed to report the commission of numerous felonies by his so-called clients. He was then sentenced to two years of probation and fined $5,000.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Fishman by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

Isn’t it comforting to know that there is yet another convicted felon practicing law in New Jersey compliments of the comedians sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court?

As we speak (ca. August 2012) Kenneth practices in the Marlton, New Jersey area.
