Attorney Lyle Blane of Glendale, CA; ethical misfit

The state of California provided Lyle L. Blane with a law license in 1963 after he graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Law College. .

The California Bar Court found Lyle guilty of the following misconduct.

Lyle negotiated a stipulated award in a worker’s compensation matter on behalf of a client. Lyle then signed (forged) the client’s name to the stipulation without the client’s knowledge or authority to so act. The stipulation was tossed when the judge learned the signature on the agreement was not the client’s. As a result of Lyle’s misconduct, the client’s disability rating was lowered.

In another matter, Lyle filed copies of a rejected settlement offer with an appeals board that contained his client’s forged signatures.

And this wasn’t Lyle’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reproval for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Lyle by gifting him with a stayed 90-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians on the Bar Court didn’t really mete out any punishment to Lyle.

As we speak (ca. August 2012) Lyle practices at 200 North Maryland in Glendale, California.
