Judge Stephen Herrick of Albany, NY; deceiver, loser

The State of New York provided Stephen Wickes Herrick with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Albany Law School.

The New York Judicial Commission found Judge Herrick guilty of the following misconduct while sitting on the Albany City Court.

During Stephen’s run for a seat on the Supreme Court (trial court), he found it convenient to try and dupe the voters by putting forth an advertisement on how he would treat defendants charged with violating Orders of Protection.

In his deceitful advertisement, Stephen implied that he would immediately send such alleged offenders to jail without the benefit of providing them with a little dose of due process.

Stephen’s advertisement was a total sham because judges sitting on the Supreme Court rarely if ever preside over cases involving violations of Orders of Protection, a fact well known to Stephen the Deceiver.

It’s obvious that Stephen well knew that the only way to increase his yearly wage was to seek a higher judicial office since it appears that no self-respecting law firm in the Albany area was about to offer him a good paying job.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Stephen by gifting him a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. August 2012) Stephen the Deceiver continues to sit as on the City Court in Albany.
