Attorney Jeremiah Valdez of Los Angeles; repeat offender

 
The state of California provided Jeremiah Flores Valdez with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of the Philippines.
 
The California Bar Court found Jeremiah guilty of misconduct on several occasions.
 
Jeremiah’s 1st Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. Wrote checks against insufficient funds (rubber checks)
  2. Attempted to deposit check into account w/o obtaining required signature of physician
  3. Paid one client with funds belonging to other clients
  4. Failed to maintain proper client trust account records
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Jeremiah by gifting him with a stayed 24-month suspension of his law license. In truth, the comics sitting on the Bar Court didn’t hand down any real punishment to Jeremiah.
 
Jeremiah’s 2nd Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  1. Practicing law without a license
  2. Wrote checks for $8,000 against insufficient funds (rubber checks)
  3. Failed to submit quarterly probation reports re: prior discipline
  4. Failed to provide competent legal services (moron)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Jeremiah by gifting him with a 60-day suspension of his law license
 
Jeremiah’s 3rd Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 
In this instance, Jeremiah was found guilty of continuing to not abide by prior probation requirements that he submit quarterly reports. In effect, Jeremiah was telling the State Bar “Up Yours!”
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Jeremiah by gifting him with a 90-day suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Jeremiah practices with Bunagan, Marapao & Associates LLP at 3540 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles, California.
