Former Judge Fred Beery of Hillsboro, OH; lying loser

Unfortunately, the State of Ohio provided Fred Jerome Beery with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the Capital University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Freddy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which related to his campaign conduct involving his quest to be elected as a Court of Common Pleas Judge.

• The manner in which Freddy spoke about his judicial appointment was contrary to the Code of Judicial Conduct
• Freddy’s advertisements regarding his opponent’s role in plea bargaining a sex offense were found to be in false
• Freddy’s statements knowingly mischaracterized his opponent as having plea bargained a sex offense charge when, in fact, he had no input to the plea Agreement
• Freddy’s opponent specifically advised him of the inaccuracies contained in the radio advertisement regarding the sex charge and plea agreement
• Despite being advised of the blatant inaccuracies regarding his opponent and the plea agreement, Freddy later mailed an an advertisement repeating the false allegations
• The ethics hearing panel ruled that Freddy intentionally timed the latter advertisement so that it was received just prior to Election Day
• Freddybroadcast a radio advertisement that included a statement claiming that his opponent “got appointed by the political bosses in Columbus”

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Freddy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license and imposed a fine of $7,500.00 along with costs totaling $8,919.43.

As we speak (ca. July 2026), Freddy practices his so-called brand of law with the Beery Law Office at 219 West Main Street in Hillsboro, Ohio.
