Attorney Jerry Ulrich of New Albany, IN; slacker

The state of Indiana provided Jerry Leo Ulrich with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Jerry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Made numerous online bank transfers w/o writing authorization
  • Failed to maintain accurate client trust account records
  • Victims of misconduct were vulnerable
  • Engaged in a pattern of trust account mismanagement
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to preserve complete records of client trust account funds
  • Failed to promptly deliver to client funds client entitled to receive
  • Failed to maintain accurate client ledgers

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Jerry by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2017) Jerry practices with Ulrich & Vidra LLC at 115 East Spring Street in New Albany, Indiana.
