Attorney Illeana Almeida of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; slacker

The State of Florida provided Illeana Maria Almeida with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from California Western School of Law.

The Florida Sate Bar found Illeana guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to communicate with client regarding three separate matter
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or do so through the acts of another
• Charged and/or attempted to charge excessive fees and costs

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits on the Florida Supreme Court punished Illeana by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,295.00.

As we speak (ca. June 2026), Illeana practices her so-called brand of law at 100 SE 6^th Street in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
