The state of Vermont provided William Cobb with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Vermont School of Law
The Utah Judicial Conduct Commission found Judge Sessions guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he served as a Wasatch County and Lindon City Justice Court judge.

-
Prior to his arrest, Brooke had beer with lunch while skiing at Park City and then drove himself home
-
During the early afternoon on the same day, Brooke had more to drink while working in his garage
-
The drinks Brooke had while working in his garage were a mixture of Rum and Diet Coke
-
While in McCammon Idaho to visit a properly he was considering to purchase and meet with a realtor, Brooke bough a six-pack of beer and finished it of in the parking lot of the gas station where he purchased it
-
Brooke was pulled over by Sgt. Nakashima after 911 received multiple calls reporting his erratic driving and expressing concern that he posed a danger to others
-
Sgt. Nakashima described Brooke as stumbling out of the car and walking slowly
-
Failed to comply with the law (scofflaw)
-
Undermined public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary

Rather than await a ruling that may well have led to him being tossed off the bench, Brooke did what any cowardly Judicial Misfit would do, he resigned from the bench.
As we speak (ca. February 2025), Brooke practices his so-called brand of law in Hyde Park, Vermont.
